Bonus Points Multipliers

Power users get from each rarity

Whenever you earn check-in or review points, they are influenced by the Bohemian you used, generating bonus points that boost your leaderboard rank. The Multiplier adjusts your earned points based on multiple dynamic factors, including Bohemian rarity, level, and attributes, ensuring more strategic engagement leads to greater rewards.

  • Bonus Points = (Points * multiplier bonus)

  • Multiplier bonus = (flexibility + creativity + luck + bohemian base multiplier + bohemian rarity bonus*bohemian level)

Bohemian Rarity & Level Impact

Each Bohemian starts with a base multiplier that enhances the Points it earns. As the Bohemian levels up, this multiplier increases steadily, up to a set maximum value. Higher rarities not only start with better multipliers but also offer greater potential for progression. The incremental growth is linear, ensuring consistent gains with every level. Let's create an example with a Rare Bohemian

After leaving a review with a Rare Bohemian, a user earned 12 Points:

  • At level 1, the Rare Bohemian’s base multiplier applies, and the user earns 12 x 1.1 = 13.2 Points.

  • At level 35, the multiplier has increased, and the user earns 12 x 1.27 = 15.3 Points.

  • At level 60, the Bohemian reaches its maximum multiplier, and the user earns 12 x 1.4 = 16.8 Points.

This demonstrates how leveling up increases the Points earned, rewarding users for progressing their Bohemian.

If an attribute impacts a Bohemian’s Points, its value is added directly to the multiplier rather than being compounded through multiplication. This ensures a balanced progression and prevents excessive multiplier inflation.

Bohemian Attributes Impact

Flexibility Penalty

  • Calculation = (-0.3) + attribute pts * 0.003

  • If your Bohemian’s category doesn’t match the venue’s category, you get a penalty of -0.3, but this is slightly reduced based on your Flexibility attribute.

  • If the categories match, there’s no penalty.

Creativity Bonus (only for reviews)

  • Calculation = attribute pts * 0.002

  • If your review includes a rating, text, and photos, you earn a Creativity bonus based on your Creativity attribute.

  • If your review is missing text or photos, you don’t get a bonus.

Luck Boost

  • Trigger probability = attribute pts *0,25% = 0.5 (if applicable)

  • Your Luck attribute gives you a chance to get a bonus.

  • The higher your Luck, the greater the chance (0.25% per Luck point).

  • If triggered, you get an extra 0.5 points; if not, there’s no bonus.
