Checking in

The easiest way to actively participate as a user in the weRate economy is by checking in at a venue with your Bohemian. Checking in takes only a couple of seconds.

• Open the weRate app

• Select the venue you are at

• Get approved by our Proof-of-Authenticity system and check in

For every check-in you perform, you earn a certain amount of credits

• Depending on your Bohemian Speciality this can be more

• If you are the first to check-in at a certain venue, you earn 3x more Experience. If it’s the first time you visit a venue but others have already checked in before you, you earn 1.5x more Experience

• A check-in also earn you WPs

• You can only check in once per day in the same business

• The total amount of check-ins you can do in one day is limited to the amount of energy of all your Bohemians, and also depends on which tier your Bohemians belong to

A check-in is done within 10 seconds, and thus requires significantly less effort than leaving a review. This is why you earn less credits.

• A check-in earns 10 times less credits than a review

• A check-in costs 5 times less energy than a review

Check-ins are perfect if you don’t feel like giving a review, or if you have already reviewed a certain venue in the same month.
