# Owning Several Terries

### 📐 Basic Terry rules

Your active Terry is the one that:

* Earns XP
* Applies multipliers
* Determines LP and credit rewards
* Progresses through levels

You can switch your active Terry at any time from your Backpack.

***

### 🧭 Active vs Inactive Terries

* **Active Terry**
  * Receives all XP from your actions
  * Applies its skills, rarity, and multipliers
  * Determines your final rewards for reviews and quests
* **Inactive Terries**
  * Do not earn XP
  * Do not apply multipliers
  * Remain unchanged until (re)activated

This keeps progression clear, fair, and easy to understand.

***

### 🌱 Why Own Multiple Terries?

Owning several Terries gives you strategic flexibility without forcing complexity:

* You can **develop different Terries for different playstyles**
* You can switch which Terry you want to progress at any moment
* You can experiment with different rarity tiers and skill allocations
* You can keep long-term Terries while actively leveling a new one

Only the Terry you choose to activate will progress, letting you focus growth where it matters.

***

### 🎒 Visual & Identity Choice

Your selected Terry represents you across the app:

* Appears as your avatar
* Reflects your progression and status
* Evolves visually as it levels up

You decide which Terry represents you at any given time.

***

### ✨ Design Philosophy

Terries are designed to encourage:

* Collection without pressure
* Progression without micromanagement
* Strategy without confusion

Multiple Terries give you **options**, not obligations.

Choose one. Play. Progress. Switch when you want.
